Pastor Mitch Horton

  • How are you doing with loving people who mistreat you and say things that should not be said to you or about you to others?  We are called to love people who don’t like us, who disagree with us, who say mean and nasty things about us. How are you doing with that?  In this message, Pastor Mitch talks about what it means to love people "The Jesus Way".

  • As we develop a hunger for God's Word, He promises to bring stability to our life.  In this session, Pastor Mitch talks about many of the things that will try to distract and keep us on shaky ground.  We must redirect our attention back to God if we are to endure the coming storms in life.

  • The most important thing we can do right now is develop our prayer life and keep it strong.  You wouldn’t think of leaving home in the morning without dressing yourself!  We should not think of leaving home without praying about our day!

  • In the book of Leviticus, God introduces the practice of using a scapegoat to carry away the sins of the people on the Day of Atonement. Later, Jesus would become the perfect act of atonement and act as a scapegoat to cary away our sins and sicknesses.
