HURRICANE FLORENCE RELIEF EFFORTS

Join us in bringing restoration to North Carolina.

Wallace, NC

The town of Wallace, NC saw a lot of damage from Florence. Kingdom Builders Ministries, which is located there, has been designated as the hurricane relief center for that area. We took the entire week of Oct 8th-13th to make the daily trek there & back to help them out! During that time several worked all day in their warehouse-turned distribution center. In the area of demolition, we were able to make a sizeable impact upon ONE house (out of 700 outstanding work orders!) They need more help and will for months. If you're ready to give, to serve, and to walk in the meat of the Word - real love - plan to come help us! See below for our next scheduled Serve Day.

Challenge in the meantime: Ask God what He would have you do.

OPTIONS, here's where you can help:

House Clean-up (removing sheetrock, removing debris, etc.)

Distribution Center (receiving, packaging, sorting supplies)

Next WALLACE SERVE DAY: Sat, Nov 10, 2018

We need as many as possible willing to help with disaster relief on this next serve day. It takes 15-20 to demo a house, and we would like to do more than one. (We have been working on house #38 on a work order wait list of over 700!)

We will depart from the church at 7:30a and plan to be back around 5p.

*Supplies are provided but bring your own tools ... you may need them.

Samaritan's Purse

We are joining with Samaritan's Purse to help provide relief to hurricane victims. They are in need of monetary donations for supplies, as well as volunteers who are willing to get their hands dirty. You can check out Samaritan's Purse and sign up to volunteer here. If you would like to contribute financially to their cause, you can text any amount and the keyword "outreach" to 919-887-2887.

Raleigh Dream Center

We are also helping our friends at the Raleigh Dream Center! While Raleigh didn't take as much damage as the coast did, the strong winds still left us with a bit of cleaning up to do. Join the Raleigh Dream Center in helping to restore the Raleigh and Coastal areas.
